Totti: ‘I’d sit down with Roma’

Francesco Totti insists he has not been called by Roma, but would be willing to ‘sit down and discuss’ it with the Friedkins and Jose Mourinho.

The Giallorossi legend spoke to RAI Sport during the half-time break of the Coppa Italia Final between Atalanta and Juventus, where he is working as a Serie A Ambassador.

He was asked about rumours that he turned down the chance to work with new Roma coach Mourinho.

“Nobody called me, these are all lies,” assured Totti.

“I would gladly sit down and discuss it, with all the respect I have towards Mourinho and the Friedkins.”
