Smalling out for three more games?

Roma defender Chris Smalling will reportedly miss at least three games, as he continues to struggle with the injury suffered against Hellas Verona.

Sky Sport Italia reports the English defender will be absent until the match against Benevento on February 21.

The defender was replaced by Marash Kumbulla at the start of the 3-1 win against Hellas Verona and seems set to miss the next matches against Udinese in Serie A and Sporting Braga in the Europa League.

Roma are, according to the broadcaster, not rushing the defender back in action, as he missed the first part of the season through injury and are giving him time to recover 100 per cent.
