Roma: Pellegrini injury update

Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini reportedly needed treatment for ankle pain today after Pedro Obiang’s tackle in Roma-Sassuolo, but should be fit to face Bologna next weekend.

The Italy midfielder has a swallen ankle that needed treatment today at Trigoria, reports Calciomercato.com.

The physical conditions of the 24-years-old will be evaluated on a daily basis and for now the injury doesn’t require medical examinations.

According to the report, Pellegrini should be eligible to play against Bologna next Sunday.

Roma complained for Obiang’s challenge as they believe the Sassuolo midfielder deserved to be sent off.
