Roma striker Borja Mayoral scored his first Serie A goal against Parma and thanked his teammates Pedro and Henrikh Mkhitaryan who have helped him to settle in the Capital.
The Spanish forward joined the Giallorossi on loan with option to buy from Real Madrid last summer and opened the account against Parma after 28 minutes. He had already scored twice in Europa League.
“I’ve only been here a month, but I’m settling in well,” he told Roma’s official website.
“I feel the confidence of the coach, I feel good with my teammates. They welcomed me very well, everyone helped me. I feel good both on and off the pitch.
“Pedro helped me a lot, he has great experience. Then I talk a lot with Mkhitaryan, They have been both very helpful.”
