Ahead of tonight’s clash, Paris Saint-Germain full-back Alessandro Florenzi recalls his ‘good memories’ from Roma’s games against Barcelona.
The former Roma defender moved to PSG last summer and prepares to face the Spanish giants in the last 16 of the Champions League at Camp Nou tonight.
His previous games against the Blaugrana include a wonder goal from the halfway line and an incredible comeback win in April 2018.
“I have several good memories against Barcelona from my time at Roma,” Florenzi told PSG’s official website.
“The first is the goal I scored from the halfway line. The second is when we came back in the quarter-finals and beat them 3-0.
“It was a memorable evening that will go down in the history of Roma. Every time I think about it, I get goosebumps.
“In some games, the mental aspect is more important than the physical one. There are games where you have the fans by your side for 90 minutes, and it can help you do magical things.
“The mind can be what wins you a game.”
