Roma have agreed terms with Real Madrid and Borja Mayoral, as the striker arrives tomorrow for his medical on a two-year loan with option to buy for €15-19m.
His agents were at the Trigoria training ground today to whittle down the details of the transfer.
There were mixed reports over the precise format of the move, but it is now agreed by all sources that this will be a two-year loan.
Roma have an option to buy Borja Mayoral for €15m if they activate it in 2021 and €18-19m if it is in June 2022.
Before completing the move, he first has to extend his current contract with Real Madrid until 2023, as it was due to expire at the end of this season.
He should undergo a medical on Friday before signing the contract with the Giallorossi.
The 23-year-old spent the last two seasons on loan at UD Levante and before that was at Wolfsburg.
Mayoral found the net nine times in 36 appearances last season.
