Roma defender Chris Smalling will sit out against Parma as a precaution, as he struggles with a problem in the left thigh.
The former England international has been halted by injuries since his permanent move to Roma and the centre-back, who returned from his latest setback only 10 days ago, was forced to stop training this morning.
He was subjected to instrumental examinations due to an issue in the left thigh, but the tests have ruled out an injury.
But Calciomercato.com reports Smalling will not be called up for the match against Parma on Sunday as a precaution.
Smalling has played 14 times in Serie A this term and has missed 16 competitive games through injury this campaign.
